I remember edible rice paper rizlas filled with terrible chocolate (cigarettes). I remember feeling they were slightly awkward sweets. Sort of like they didn't really fit. Looking back now British American Tobacco reps must have been laughing their arses off.

In a way kids still smoke candy cigarettes - they just call it vaping. See what happens when you run sugar out of town? Some calorie-free a-hole moves in and stinks the whole place up!

I remember those. Never really liked the flavour, though.

I recall being given chocolate cigarettes and cigars when I was a kid. Often by aunties or uncles visiting from overseas. My parents rarely gave my brother and I chocolate as treats (besides Easter), so I never really developed a taste for it.

Well who would have known? Collingwood supporters are called the same thing.

I can honestly say the candied cigarettes and bubblegum cigars were in no way a gateway to my tobacco consumption as an adult. It was, perhaps, a gateway to my diabetes...🙄
